My latest CNN column, Teach kids to make things, went live on Friday, Sept 20, as NY Maker Faire was kicking off. Thanks to Dale Dougherty of Maker Media, Jane Werner from the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum and staff from the Maker Education Initiative. Jeff Sturges in Detroit was kind enough to let me see the makerspace he’s created in the basement of a Detroit church.
